Beavers

Meetings: Our Beaver Scouts meet on Fridays from 4.15pm to 5.30pm.

Age Range: 5¾ to 8 years old. If your child is under 5¾ feel free to contact us and register your interest, our Beaver Colony is very popular.

Where: BP HQ, 69 Higher Drive, Purley, CR8 2HR. We can be found in the grounds of St Barnabas Church.

Beaver Scouts are our youngest members and they take part in a wide range of activities including games, crafts, singing, visits and good turns, along with plenty of outdoor activities.

You’ll figure the world out by exploring, playing and doing.  The most important skills you’ll learn at Beavers are the ones that will make you feel super strong standing on your own two feet. We call these character skills.

Beavers also have the opportunity to take part in the fun and excitement of camp for a day and possibly a sleepover.

When the time comes to move on to the next stage in Scouting, we guarantee our Beavers a place in our Cub Pack.

How to Join: Send us an enquiry, see the bottom of the Home Page and we can take it from there.  There is no cost and no uniform to try us out for a few weeks to see if Beavers is for you.
